Thank you. Katy Christian Ministries came through for me in a time of great need and uncertainty. I was unemployed after going through life-changing surgery on my spine that left me unable to do my regular construction job. The benefits I was receiving from unemployment dried up and disability benefits will take 12 to 18 months to get approved. I was struggling to keep up with my bills and was getting nowhere with government assistance programs. Katy Christian Ministries was able to offer me some much-needed financial relief and financial coaching to get me pointed in the right direction. They helped with my immediate needs by signing me up for their food pantry and focused on my long-term needs by educating me on resume writing, job interview skills, and managing debt.
Katy Christian Ministries does not shame you; they help you. I am very grateful for the people and outreach of Katy Christian Ministries. I have never felt so cared for by any type of assistance program as I have felt while dealing with my case manager and the Katy Christian Ministries team.
