I bought this kangaroo because my mom had one just like it. About 23 years ago, I was extremely homesick, and made the 6 hour drive from Terrell, TX to Hobbs, NM to see my parents. I was a young wife with a 2 year old. When it came time to drive back to Texas, I was so sad. My mom gave me her kangaroo so I could take a piece of “home” back to Texas.
When I arrived back in Terrell, I didn’t realize that the kangaroo had shifted. I opened the car door and it shattered ☹️
I have searched for years for a “replacement”. My sweet parents are both gone, but today I received a little piece of “home”.
