The holidays are a time to gather around the table, share meals, and create cherished memories with loved ones. But for many families in our community, the worry of how to afford a holiday meal overshadows the joy of the season.
At Katy Christian Ministries, we believe that everyone deserves a seat at the table—and a turkey (or ham) on it.
What We’re Doing
Through our A Turkey for Every Table program, we ensure that families struggling to make ends meet can still experience the joy of a holiday meal. Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of donors like you, we distributed over 1200 turkeys to families in need, along with all the fixings for a festive feast.
Why It Matters
For many families, a holiday meal is more than food—it’s a moment of normalcy and togetherness during challenging times. It’s the laughter of children, the warmth of tradition, and the reminder that they are not alone.
