At Katy Christian Ministries (KCM), we believe every child deserves the tools and confidence to start the school year on the right foot—literally. That’s why our Red Apple School Supplies and Happy Feet programs exist.
Lat year, these initiatives helped over 1,390 children head back to school with new supplies and shoes, ensuring they had what they needed to succeed academically and socially.
The Impact of Red Apple and Happy Feet
Education is a pathway to opportunity, and every child should have the chance to thrive in the classroom. However, many students face barriers when they lack basic resources like notebooks, pencils, and backpacks—or even proper footwear.
Through the Red Apple School Supplies program, children receive essential school items tailored to their grade level, allowing them to participate fully in their education. The Happy Feet program provides brand-new shoes, ensuring kids feel comfortable and confident as they walk into the classroom.
These programs do more than meet physical needs—they also give children a sense of pride, inclusion, and motivation to learn.
