You are invited to participate in this year’s 19th Annual Gala “Transforming Lives”, to take place on Thursday evening, September 14th, 2023 at Safari Texas Ranch! Because of you, we continue our endeavors since 1984, and remain humbled and committed to empower families in our caring community. We do this by: Addressing food insecurity via our Food Pantry and Community Gardens Alleviating Poverty, preventing homelessness and evictions via our Social Services Department Providing Crisis Intervention and counseling for victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse via our Crisis Center Providing basic necessities like clothing, furniture and household items through vouchers via our Resale Stores A glance at Katy Christian Ministries (KCM) impact in 2021: • 2,475 new victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse received help through the KCM Crisis Center. • 12,217 households received help meeting basic needs such as emergency rental & utility assistance through KCM Social Services. • 50,222 hours were served by volunteers at KCM. • 1,614,247 lbs. of food distributed to families in need by the KCM Food Pantry.
